What we are — and what we're not
We type the forms you choose. We don't choose them for you.
Atrium Filing operator is a Florida nonlawyer document preparation service. We are not a law firm. We are not attorneys. We cannot and do not provide legal advice.
What we do
- Type the information you provide into the official Florida Supreme Court Approved Family Law Forms you have selected.
- Format those forms to court requirements.
- Deliver the completed forms to you for signing, notarization (where required), and filing.
What we do not do
- Recommend a package or tell you which forms apply to your situation.
- Interpret legal terms or explain the legal significance of any provision.
- Predict how a court will rule.
- Represent you in court or communicate with opposing parties on your behalf.
- File your forms with the court.
- Serve your forms on the other party.
The bright line
Your responsibilities
What we need from you so we can do the typing.
- You select your own package based on your own understanding of your situation.
- You provide complete and accurate information. We type what you tell us.
- You review your completed packet before signing and filing.
- You sign each form, have notarization done where required, file with the clerk, pay any filing fees, and serve the other party per Florida rules.
- You attend any court hearings and respond to anything the other party files.
Disclosure from Nonlawyer
The Rule 12.900(a) acknowledgment you accepted when you signed up.
Before any data collection began, you accepted the Disclosure from Nonlawyer required by Florida Family Law Rule 12.900(a). That disclosure is part of these terms.
Mandatory client contact
Florida law requires we talk to you before sending the packet.
Florida nonlawyer rules require us to confirm your details by phone before delivering your packet. We will call you at the number you provided. If we cannot reach you, we cannot deliver your packet, even if you have paid.
Rule 12.750
Refunds and cancellation
Full refund any time before delivery. Case-by-case after.
Before we send your packet
You can cancel and receive a full refund at any time. Sign in, open your case, and click Cancel my case & refundin the footer of your status page. The refund is issued automatically to your original card and typically appears within 5–10 business days.
After we send your packet
The packet has been delivered and is yours to file. Refunds are no longer self-service at that point, but if there is a problem with what we sent, email support@atriumfiling.comand we’ll review your case individually.
We do not pro-rate refunds based on how much operator review work has been done. Cancel before the packet sends and you get the whole amount back; cancel after and we handle it case-by-case.
Refunds are instant
